Quotably Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Quotably (“we”, “us”) is an AI quoting, invoicing, and rebooking assistant for solo service professionals. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: the identifier and email address you provide when you sign in with Apple (Sign in with Apple) or with email.
- Business data you create: the quotes, invoices, client profiles, service catalog, and historical pricing records you create in Quotably. This data is stored in your own account space and is accessible only to you.
- Service-quality data: to keep the service reliable and to diagnose issues, we collect essential technical metadata (crash logs, error codes, call timestamps, subscription status). This does not include your clients’ underlying content.
2. How We Use Information
Your information is used only to: provide quoting, invoicing, and rebooking features; calibrate AI suggested prices against your own quote history; keep the service reliable and troubleshoot faults; and send necessary service notifications. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
3. AI Data Processing
When you use the AI quote feature, your request text and any photos are forwarded by our AI gateway to third-party large language model providers (such as OpenAI, Google) to generate the quote. This content is used in the moment and discarded for that single request only — not stored, not used for model training. We do not send personally identifiable information such as your name or email to AI providers. We ask for your explicit consent before your first use of AI, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your business data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase) using industry-standard encrypted transport (TLS/SSL). Row Level Security ensures each user can access only their own data. We routinely review our security measures to protect your data.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings → Account → Delete account. The deletion cascades and erases all of your quotes, invoices, client profiles, and price book data, and cannot be undone.
6. On Tracking
We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party ad networks, or cross-app tracking SDKs. We use only self-hosted crash and error monitoring (GlitchTip) to diagnose stability issues; the diagnostic data collected is not used for advertising.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide core functionality:
- Supabase — account authentication and business data storage
- OpenAI / Google — AI text processing for quotes via our AI gateway (used in the moment, not stored)
- RevenueCat — purchase and management of the digital subscription (Quotably Pro)
- Stripe — collecting payment for physical services (funds go directly into your own Stripe account; Quotably never touches the money)
- GlitchTip (self-hosted) — crash and error monitoring
8. Children’s Privacy
Quotably is for professional practitioners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date on this page and notify you within the app for material changes. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
